LR3 Suspension Lift

LR3 Suspension Lift

Finding the right suspension lift for the Land Rover LR3 has proven to be a bit of a challenge. The LR3 we bought already had an airbag to suspension/coil conversion on it. The standard kit didn’t give the LR3 a lift, and the Rover sits low to the ground. So I wanted to lift it 2.5 – 3.0 inches. The problem with the strut and coil lift is that we would have had to replace the existing kit (which was new) with yet another kit and that was financially a sound decision. So instead we went on a wild goose chase looking for suspension spacers. Here is what we found.

2″ Suspension Spacers For LR3

I found a company called ToddCo Suspensions dot com and I couldn’t get a response from the site owner and assume that they are no longer manufacturing this suspension lift. It seemed like a pretty expensive 2″ spacer at around $500. Other than that, anything I found searching Google were other comments and people looking to get another 2″ of lift out of their LR3. I ended up finding a company out of Russia that make the 2″ spacer for a little over $200. The only issue is that it is going to take up to a month to ship. I’m not in a rush to get the lift, but if you are planning to take your LR3 offload soon and need the lift, you will be waiting a month or so before it arrives.

This kit is available (at the moment) on Ebay here: https://bit.ly/Land-Rover-LR3-Suspension-Lift

I ordered the lift and will take pictures as I install it to show before and after images. The lift is affordable, but is still only going to get a few inches out of the risers. After adding larger tires, I should gain a total of 4-5 inches of clearance. I’ll update this blog in a month or so when these risers arrive and I install them on my 2007 Land Rover LR3.
